Okay, after having read the beginnings of this, I am not really certain where
to begin.

I agree with everyone? Magic is a big part of things in SR, but it is NOT
everything in SR. And this includes my opinions from the POV of a playtester
group person, as well as someone who just likes to play the game and get new
material.

But Mike B. mentioned to me that from a convo or three he's had with others at
FASA, that currently FASA perceives a need (generated by the responses from
the general buying public I would guess (shrug)) for the SRC3, at least as
much as MitS, if not more.

Now I also admit that I do NOT know all the details, and I have not directly
spoken with anyone at FASA (I tried to get through today, but they were in a
meeting). As such, I am not taking anyone's speculation on the subject with
heavy thought or heartfelt compassion.

And I would suggest that everyone else does the same.

I believe that the game producers will put out whatever they both want to put
and what they believe will bring them the biggest returns.

I *personally* would like to see ALL of the material put forward and
published, but again, not everything is decided in any finality. MitS, as a
source material, is done (I believe) but is awaiting the final touches
(artwork, editors fixings, publisher's scheduling...).

I don't know, maybe we all need to send our resume's into FASA directly and
try and become direct Freelance writers...

ShadowRun* Companion, 3rd edition.

*The capitalization of the R in the middle of the word Shadowrun was meant
to emphasize that it is the R, not that that is the proper way to spell
it.
