I'll bring my decks along, though TBH my free time may be nil with the
organizing and running the tournament and all...

Free time? What's that? :]

There WILL be a bunch of commons that FASA donated last year being used in
the construction of CardHalla... Check it out (And hit my page for more
info on CardHalla :))

Just so I can be upset and miss it (again) when/where is Gen-Con?
Hey, maybe if it's late enough in the year, I got a couple of decks we can
play.

Gen Con is always the 2nd or 3rd wek in August (I think 3rd but I may be
wrong on that as it has been close to 10 years since Iwent to one). It
used to always be in Milwaukee Wisconson, however it has outgrown the
convention facilities there and starting either this year or next (agaion
I can't remember off the top of my head) is moving to Indianapolis
Indiana.

Gen Con this year is August 2-5. It's still in Milwaukee, and
will be until at least 2003 (I don't remember the exact year
it's moving, but you can find out by looking at Wizards of the
Coast's website).

Actually, 2003 will be the first year in Indianapolis. We have one more year at the
ancestral home of Gen Con, then we move on to what has been promised as a city with much
better hotel facilities for hosting a convention... We'll see... <shrug>

Does anyone have a Con list and where they're held?
I'm stationed in San Diego and I'd like to know when Comic-Con is and I'll
be going up to Chicago for a while soon too. Any big convetions happening
around then.
(Yeah, I probably missed comic-con too. Maybe next year.)

Actually it's the first week in August. Starting on the 2nd this year I
believe.

It is moving to Indianapolis, but not until 2004 according to the last I
heard.

Milwaukee is not the ancestral home of Gen Con. As you noted in your sig,
its ancestral home is Lake Geneva.

Close enough :] Milwaukee's not really all that far from Lake geneva... And at least
it's in the same state...

And Milwaukee is actually the third "home" of Gen Con anyways :] I wrote up a
nice little "history of the con" on my fledgling Conventions page... Some
interesting stuff, actually, though I'd like to find a little more info to fill it out a
bit :]
