I just checked the errata posted at Herkimer's Lair, and this little
tidbit ain't innit.

SRC, revised for 3rd Edition, pages 48 and 49, contain rules on
training. The "Learning a New Skill" section is missing a paragraph in
the "Do-It-Youself Method."
After "...the gamemaster may otherwise restrict the choice of skills
that a character can learn on his own.", but before "To determine the
final training time required to learn the new skill, ..." there should
be the following passage from SRC: Beyond the Shadows, page 51,
paragraph 1: "The base training time to learn a new skill is 30 Days.
A player...." etc, etc.
Anyway, was this caught in the second printing of SRC, and missed in
the errata, or does the flub still stand?
