I hate cyberware questions.

One of my players wants a voice modulator, yet neither of us knows
what comes standard with this piece of 'ware. Any suggestions? Will
it get rid of those annoying cracks we sometimes get when we talk?

He also wants to get a rangefinder. Does this hook up to a smartlink
system (does this display how many bullets are left in the gun, by the
way?) or is he going to have to get an image/display link to read the
data?

Finally, I noticed that it says boosted reflexes can't be removed, but
it no longer says that it can't be upgraded. Is this true?

The one from SSC? It's just a standard voice mask, built into your body.

No, time takes care of that one.

It can tie into Smartlink II, from what is said, you "know" the range like
the rest of your weapon's status if it an internal ssytem, or it is
displayed on the goggles your display is non-cyber.
If you are using SL I, then you would need to use a datajack w/
encephelon, or a dispaly link, unless it is top mounted, in which case, it
might have a range display (+50¥ over normal version, would be my guess)

Depends on what rules you are using. I don't have anything official on
that, but I would rule that the Esscense of the two sets of crud added to
your body are cumulative, but you only get the higher of the two bonuses.

I think it would keep you with a perfect voice if you are using your own
at least.

Smartguns will display the ammo left in the weapon the target of the
weapon and the point the weapon will fire at when the 'trigger' is pulled.
It will also allow you to fire the gun without using your finger and drop
the current clip as a free action.
Rangefinders DO hook up to a SG system if using the syber rangefinder rom
FoF or SS2. an external rangefinder wont link unless specially modified
(look at the deep resonance shadowrun archive for an example of a piece of
cyber which allows this.)

It cant be removed. It cant be upgraded.
