Cool.

| To bring this back to SR... If tehy ever made a SR monopoly game, what
| would it be like? And waht would you use for properties, playing pieces,
| etc...?

Let me see, for playing pieces I would go for the
steriotypical SR team (elf decker, female mage, NA shaman,
troll sam, etc). Or you could go the abstract route
(cyberdeck, Seatle space needle, Ares Predator, drone,
etc). And a third option could be to use major characters
(Harly, Dunk, Damion, etc.).

For properties, start off with glow city and the barrens,
and work your way up to the space station (rent for that
one's gotta be a bitch :)

Hmmm.. I'll have to scrounge up a monopoly board and give
this one some thought.

Good idea! Then the properties could represent cities and countries.
Replace the railroads with archologies. And replace Boardwalk with Zurich
Orbital. Bull?

I'm still partial to having teh playing Pieces be SR Archetype mini's, but
then having them buy up countries and archologies makes little sense, so
the Copr Emblems would work... (I want to be Ares!)...

As another mini's option, maybe use the greater dragons, the IE, D. night,
etc... The big mega personalities...

So far so good... What do we use as the Utilities?

I say replace Jail with Bug City (You're trapped in teh CZ for three
turns...:)

Luxery Tax could be replaced with something... Not sure what off hand...

I'll get to work and have something ready by the weekend...:)

Tell you what. You work on the Archetype version, and I'll give the Corp
version a go. It'd be really cool if we could come up with two completely
different sets that relate to eachother in subtle little ways (like cards
in the corp set and the archetype set coincide).

This reminded me of something. Is there any truth to the report that
Shadis magazine had that FASA is releasing a Sr:CCG? They (Shadis) said it
was an official announcement, but I didn't hear any chatter on here about
it. Perhaps I missed it.

Something along those lines was mentioned a few months back (before
FASAMike was around), and while most of us know that it was announced (And
quite a few of teh listmembers find the concept horrendous:)), no one has
any details. I keep hearing release dates, and then they come and go... I
haven't heard anything in some time, though...

FASAMike? Any chance you could shed some light on these rumors? Please?

That's good. For Utilites, how about security providers? Knight-Errant
and Lone Star?

For the different monopolies, how about different sprawls? Pick three
different major attractions in each sprawl for each zone - Seattle, D/FW,
Manhattan, San Francisco, FDC...

"Get out of jail free" card could be "Extraction", we could have
"Gang
War", "Fixer kicks back 50 nuyen"... "Free Parking" becomes
"Neutral Turf"...

You're reading my mind, Tom... But I was thinking of using the RR for
these two, along with Shadowland and Doc Wagon...

The utilities became the Seattle Nuclear Power Plant and the Matrix.

I was thinking of keeping it more or less confined to Seattle... Not
really enough common info available on each sprawl... Everyone knows some
of teh major clubs and districts in Seattle, but teh other cities are
lesser known...

think about...:):)

There have been lots of rumors about an SR CCG the past few years. What's
true and what's not, I have no idea -- all I know is that one of the
things I heard (well, read actually) was that it was supposed to be a game
where everyone played a fixer.
