Subject: [SRN] Holopix and Tridscreens

Hail Runners,

I thought I'd start with the tag in the Subject line and hope that other
will follow so that those who use an "inferior" (*duck*) mail client can
make a nice filter.

The reason for this post is the lack of understanding on my part of what the
aforementioned to things represent. I don't have a clear view of how I
should see these two things, and how I should explain them to my players.

The current idea I have concerning the Holopictures is that they are somehow
psuedo-holograms so you can "kinda look around" certain objects in the
picture. I don't know it's all very vague. Any help?

The idea I had of tridscreens are just pure holographic pictures contained
in a flat-vid like screen. Green screens that have no substance that display
3d pictures within their boundries. So you could watch
the-screen-from-different-sides-sorta thing. I have no idea,...help?

Ok... Ive always pictured them as a small tray-like object that when
activated, showed a complete 3dimentional hologram on it. I've read a
few SR novels, and think that that could be where i get my ideas from,
but hey, if someone can explain it properly, please do so!

Now for these i had the idea of like a Video sized Box, and a 3d image
ontop of it. There was actually a lifesized 3d hologram of a boxer at
a Japanese Show a few years ago... that kinda sounded like it,
although that one was green only. You could probably get really large
screens, like a few metres wide, deep and high. Again, this is my
enterpretation, and Im willing to get brought up to speed on how it
REALLY is!
