Well, it is funny that you should mention this. I am setting up a server
on the undernet (the friendly alternative to EFnet). In about a week an
d a half, there will be a permanent #shadowrun channel run by the
Doc-bot. Keep a look out for it. Any ideas will be greatfully accepted.

If you want information on the undernet just mail me for a list of
servers or read alt.irc.

Huh? what did I do?

On IRC, I can be found hanging out in #unix mostly. I usually start up
IRC while I'm doing other things to have somethign happening in the
background.

Well I have an IRC client (IRC 1.7.6 for VMS supposedly 2.0 is coming out
soon...a person I met was using a beta test to work out the bugs) I know
pretty much what there is to know about the undernet (read as I know it's
there). As for suggestions tell me what you have in mind right now and
maybe I can add from there!!

--Phlatline on the Undernet IRC!!

Greetings All,

It's been quite some time since I've been on IRC and I'm thinking
about diving back in. I just can't remember what server hosts the
popular SR channels. Was it DALnet? Or something else?

Actually, Dumpshock now hosts its own IRC server. It's irc.dumpshock.com, port 6667.
Simply connect and join the #Shadowrun channel. It's not a gaming channel, more just
Shadowrun questions and chit-chat, but you can usually hook up with and arrange games with
people.

There are also a number of other channels as well but that should get you started. Hope
that helps some.

August 9 I just made my signature file. Its only 6 pages long. I
will have to work on it some more.
