I asked this question a while ago. The consensus of opinion was to
use the drone's Pilot rating + 1/2 of rigger's successes (successes
determined when rigger tells the drone to shoot things) as firearms
skill. This reflects the skill of the rigger in explaining things
in a way the drone can understand.
