But if WYBIWYG is going to be used to explain how magic works, then it
will effect players simply because some of them use magic. Besides, if it
can be kept in balance with th other types of magicians, a mage with a
different world view whose magic is more than a little different tha
normal should be allowed as a PC. Saying well treat any like that like a
Samurai with less than 0 Essence (which by teh way means teh samurais
dead anyway :) and make them an NPC is a little too general. Each
PC's world view may be valid *and* playable.

Thats your call to make as a GM, but I really dont recomend it. Anyway
"pure" WYTIWYG *does*not* allow for new worldviews for PCs.
PS: Pure WYTIWYG is my version :)

I personaly have nothing against this, but I consider it to be highly
destibilising and potentially dangerous. If you plan on doing stuff like that
you better have some very responsible and knowledgable players.

It depends on how you were indoctrinated into the world of magic, it
would have been easier before the awakening to change a person's W V of
magic, but now images of magic (correct or not) are thrown at the SR
youth from a young age through Tride etc. But there could be those hidden
from that and brought up to think differently.

As long as the Gm is willing to put in the work and the players aren't
trying to use WYBIWYG to minimax a character then it should be fine. If a
GM is really lasy and has M:tA he can use the trads from that.
