Subject: SRTCG -Challenges and Stingers?

I just sent this message to FASA in hopes of having some questions
clarified.
I'm assuming that will take some time, so I'm also posting it here, in hopes
of getting a quick answer from those in the know ... like Loki, Bull ...
whoever.

They are trashed...

Any Challenge taht is played on an objective that it cannot work on (Such
as teh No INDOORS one) is counted as a Bluff.

Stingers are One shots, I believe... They only effect the runners once,
but I could be mistaken on this one...

They're trashed as the objective they were tied to is no longer in
play.

challeneges

Exactly. If they are invalid per instructions on the objective then
they're just counted as bluffs.

I haven't seen Blindsided yet, it's one I'm still seeking for my
collection. So I can't speak on that one specifically. However, most
Stingers and Specials are pretty specific in their wording. If it's
until the end of turn or the end of a Shadowrun, then the card is
trashed once that sequence has ended. Others like Infected Chrome stay
in play until that character is trashed or fragged, or something like
Luck of the Irish removes the special. Still others like Bad Lunch has
specific on the card where a roll of 4+ defeats and trashes the card.

From what I've seen so far, I'd say Blindsided is Shadowrun specific.
Keep in mind Shadowruns on different turns, even for the same
objective, are sperate and unique events.

Hope what I've said helps and/or makes sense. :o)

The launch tubes are, yes, the electronics are clipped to a new one for
each shot.

At least your questions were simpler to handle and less entailed than
mine. :o)

Before too many people flood FASA with the question on this one, they
are aware that Halloweener Hell was misprinted. It is a 6/4 challenge.
(This came both from Mike Mulvihill and Skuzzy.)

I'm also trying to get an answer on the deployment cost of The Z-Zone
as there isn't one printed on the location

I'm also trying to get a concrete ruling on handrazors. The card lists
them as cyberware/weapon. It says there is a limit of two per runner.
This doesn't make alot of sense when the rules say you may only use
one weapon per combat. However, Flatline is allowed to use two pistols
at a time, so I asked Mike Mulvihill if two sets of handrazors would
be cumulative and he off-the-cuff said yes. The card isn't very clear
on this, so I'm trying to see if a definite answer can work it's way
into the FAQ.

My current question in to them is if there are any timing limitations
on just when Red Widow can be turned to join a Shadowrun in progress.
I have three of this little sweetheart in my deck and just love this
card. :o)
