In the use of Bitoech section on page 129 it says use the Body stat for
bonuses to healing (see chart). In the medical healing section, page
128, it is a little different. This is the chart that only people
getting real medical attention from doctors take bonuses from. On this
chart there is an astrisk that indicates only use the un-modified body
or willpower stat.

It makes sense. Biotech is with the first hour after a wound. It is
rapid repair, and a spell could still reasonably be in affect. In a
hospital or long term care facility with doctors, they would probably
ask for all spells to be elminated. Also they would remove all equipment
and clothing from a character, including foci. The sustaining focus
stops working when it leaves reasonable contact with it's target.

Anyways, it would be a real bitch trying to do surgery on someone with a
+4 bod spell being sustained. ;-)
