Hey! I heard that this was going to be at GenCon! We're slipping...
:-)

I gotta be honest. I like the concept of the other sourcebooks you
listed and I'll end up buying them. But if I could give them all up
to get Rigger 2 /now/ - I would in a heartbeat. The adventure stuff
is nice, but SRII NEEDS that Rigger 2 book a heck of a lot more than
it needs more adventures. Rigging in SRII now is a large chunk of
alchemy mixed with (hopefully) common sense...

This is a Sourcebook featuring 3 places in the UCAS...Boston, Detroit/Ares,
and Bug City (with a twist or two).

Plus a state of teh UCAS after the election/assassination. This is one of the
new types of "place books" that I mentioned earlier when the discussion went
in that direction.

Yeah I currently am The major changes were the destruction of the subway =

underground tunnels for nasties to move into once the mana got high =
enough. The destruction of Southie during the racial fighting on and =
immediately following the night of rage. Now all the bridges going there =

I was rereading the copy of POAD:DS you sent me (I do really
appreciate that, BTW), and I have become very interested in Target: UCAS.
Somehow, the Balkanization of the UCAS, like the USA, seems to be a much
more prominant possibility now from some of the references made in the
book. I see the strain on the UCAS to be one of those things that ends up
in catastrophe.

BTW, in the Will one of the things Dunkelzahn gave out was "... my
voting stock in Aztechnology and the board seat to which that entitles
you."
Does this mean that Dunkelzahn was the dragon on the Board, or is
there another?

Ya. I did something similar with Brockton. I had the Night Of Rage Hit the
Boston area hard. Most of brockton was burned, Ares came in and took over
what was left and it is now a Compound/Arcology of sorts. Dorchester
turned ino Prime slum area, along with Charlstown, and Southie.

Ya, Brookline and W. Roxbury have as you said corm enclaves... Summervill
has become home to many New corp buildings. Most of Quincy has become a
corp enclave, The Adams region along with Braintree. the rest of Quincy
exspesially German Town Has hit rock bottom!

Yep, I run a Charlotte-sprawl and the surrounding Carolina area in
my game. This little town has too many problems not to exploit and run a
game on it. It's also nice since the players have a point of refernce of
what's where. I get a lot better feel that way and it comes out more
believable.
And I still want that "war" between the CAS and Aztlan!!!!!

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal
names more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves,
they answered to another name, because if another discovered their real

Well, I once ran a character who lived in Cambridge in a PBEM, but it only lasted
about 3 posts, so I guess I have to say "No". In real life I live in Framingham
(3/4
hour west of Boston) and work in Newton (20 min west of Boston), do I have any
neighbors on the list?

Me and Tinner have been working, off and on, on a Cleveland Sprawl... In
fact, we'll be submitting it to NERPS (if we cen ever get it done:)). So
far it's about 20 pages, plus a couple maps... and will probably be close
50 when we're finally done...:)

Well.. then have one.. In one game I'm playing in Cali. Free State
and UCAS are at odds with each other. A state of unofficial war.
And in my campaign there have been border battles between UCAS and
CAS.

My group is working on Asheville, NC, but we spend so little time on it
that we probably won't be done anytime soon.

He a dragon on the board not the only dragon. Although he may never have
attened the board meetings as a a dragon or never actaully went himself. Dunk
was sneaky enough to keep that secret so, the people who compiled the Aztlan

I want an official FASA unofficial war. My desires and ambitions are too
great to just settle with it being in my game.

My game has touched upon your area a few times. The two major
interests I've had there is a young western dragon laired at the Biltmore
Estate and the Cherokee nation. My game is slightly more statewide since
I can find a few intersting places to explore across the whole state. For
instance a dwarven family/guild type organization has bought the old
Reid's Gold Mine and re-established it for magical artificing. They are
very private so no one knows for sure if they are actually mining the
orichalcum or just using the mine for a cover.
I'll be glad to cross reference material with you on game area
developments.

Ya know most of us yanks won't have the slightest idea what Kudzu is (I do =
thanks to living in Montgomery Al for a few months) but in my opinion =
anything that grows that fast is already awakened ;>

I say this knowing that you have nothing concrete yet, Mike. <G>

I'd have to assume that Dunkie could've had anyone in that seat even
if they didn't know Dunkie was the one who put them there. If he had
voting stock and a patsy, Dunkie could both keep tabs on the big A
and make important votes with his stock, perhaps even allowing the
patsy to wheel and deal for those votes only to vote D's way anyway.

No, not quite. See Atzlan, where Dunklezahn pursuaded one or two, and
ref Ania from WWE, yes the Ania of the 'Draco foundation'.
But trying to get most of the rest of 'the elves shall rule' imortals
brigade to pay attention to the fact that just following thier plans
would simply put them at the top of the snacks list has not gone well.
