PLEASE, Damion, just because you got hundreds of messages during
your vacation doesn't mean you have to dredge up what are (to the rest of
us) dead discussions!

Please, would you be so kind and stop discussing the pro's and con's
of English and American language?(Where am I here, I thought this was
the SR-mailing list?)

Chill out, man... At least it's a fairly interesting topic, and one that
has a point, as opposed to endless tirades about WW games or W00dChuck$...:)

Next time you have a run in England... You might regret complaining....

A certain amount of off-topicness is allowed here.
(Fro put his foot down, but this is a mintr thread.)

If you don't like it, don't read it....

Yeah, sorry it's got so OT... <self thwap>

As a note though, if you want it to get back On Topic, *post* on topic
stuff. No use just lurking and then complaining about the content! :)

Then promptly corrupted my mailbox, losing 3 days of built up OT mail and
other stuff I hadn't read yet.. So all you nasty OT people got off easy :)
Actually, I found the language thread rather interesting, being born in
Canada but being raised by British parents, influenced by American TV, I
get some words mixed up :) And we don't say 'eh' after the end of every
sentence. Very few people I know do that, although I have a tendancy to
do so just to annoy people ;)

Well... the SR list is _generally_ about SR, but it strays a lot --
usually this is because something was SR-relevant when it got started,
and then went out of control until it either dies naturally, or Fro wants
us to kill it :)

I was born in Japan, and even nowadays, I have a habit of adding a
"deshoo" at the end of sentences, especially when I'm speaking Chinese.
