There's a TV show in the US called Nash Bridges. It's basically a cops and
robbers show. But one of the things I love about it are the side stories
that accompany the main plot. For example, in one episode one of the
detectives has to deal with the visit of his mother-in-law, who is
controlling, and doesn't speak a word of english (she's swedish).

I want to start including a side story with every adventure I run, and I
would appreciate some help :) Please add to the following ideas.

One of the PCs is approached by a small simsense movie company. They want
him to wear a simsense recorder the next time he's on a run, offering him
Y5,000. Everything is going fine until they start calling him during the
run, asking him to perform stunts, shoot the guards for "dramatic effect", etc.

One of the PC's contacts calls them, asking them if they want to be a
silent partner in a business venture. They provide some of the investment
capital, and don't have to do a thing. Unfortunately the contact gets sick
and asks the PC to take over for "just one day".

BTW, if anyone is interested, an unofficial Nash Bridges fan site has plot
synopsis of all the shows and many of them make great Shadowrun
adventures. http://www.lowtek.com/nash/

A contact calls in a favor- you need to babysit her little angel. And the
kid really is a perfect angel.

It's the little mage's ally (free spirit/ fill in type) that's a bother.

I also love the beautiful women. ;)
