Ummm, wow!?! I reread this a couple of times and I have only one question.
Have you considered writing up a preamble for RPGs? I officially bow out of
all debates about "ggod" and "bad" in roleplaying. "Mutually
enjoyable" is
the watchword henceforth. To quote my favorite news anchor..."Huzah and
kudos!"

>"Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already >know
>that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be >killed."

p.s. Can I quote your sig line? I've been quoting my housemate, but I do
like the dragon quote.

Heh. Thanks for the encouragement, though as far as preambles for RPG
material, I have a great fondness for the late Nigel Findley's work. There
are several GURPS rulebooks in particular that have good passages from
Findley. Of course, if anyone offered, it would be difficult for me to turn
them down, medical school notwithstanding.

Go right ahead, though it MIGHT look a little weird if two people on this
listserv have the same sig. And this listserv is anything BUT weird *evil
grin, with a playful touch of sarcasm*...
