Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd post that Lou Prosperi has just put the prologue and
chapter one of STRANGER SOULS, book one of The Dragon Heart Saga, on FASA's
web site. See my sig for the url.

I'm hoping he'll post the next two before too long. The first four chapter
are really necessary to meet all (or almost all) the important characters.

You might also want to check out the tidbit they posted from Target: UCAS.
It seems that Ares has decided that the bug spirit problem in Chicago has
been fixed and they're pulling out of the containment effort. The problem
has been solved, they say. Yeah, right! Things are going to get mighty
interesting.

Final note. Saw The Saint, really liked it. Lots of unbelievable drek, but
it had excellent character background and was a great ride. It was also
hilariously funny all the way through. Besides, Elizabeth Shu makes me crazy
(in a good way). A very good way. <panting>

Thought the "State of the Union" speech was pretty funny, myself. Not
surprised they finally pulled out of Chicago (looks the the Cermak
Society did its work..) Waiting for the other shoe to drop, myself.

Off-hand note; on the FASA page the year is given as 2057; on shadowtk
it's 2058. Are we all a bunch of forward-looking people, or is there an
explanation for this?

SR keeps moving forward: the current SR year is the RL year plus 61, as
you'll be able to verify from looking in most sourcebooks. Some don't work
out exactly, but those are usually the ones published in the first or last
few months of a year. FASA probably forgot to update their WWW page.

Er, if you're not kidding, RL = Real Life.

If you are kidding, I don't know much about RL, I guess some people find
enjoyment in it. There is a sun, quite nasty, I hear.

Some of my friends have told me RL is nothing but a mastermind plot by

It's the year you see in the header of the email messages you get.

Are there any voices in your head that go along with this conspiracy?
Maybe it's a really big conspiracy by the government to get you to buy
windows software because they own Bill Gates, and. . . .somebody else
pick it up from here :)

Oooh, so you're saying that Bill Gates is a clone of an alien they found in
Roswell. Only they brainwashed him into thinking he was the old Bill Gates
(who the CIA assasinated becuase they were racist, then they digitaly
changed all pictures of Bill Gates to make him white instead of black and
brainwashed everyone who'd ever seen him when he was black) for the sole
intent of lowering America's morale by forcing an operating system that
never works on us....how fiendish...

I'm hoping they come out soon. There's only one thing I hate worse than
spoilers, and that's not being able to read something through in one
sitting!

Posting bits to the website is *evil*. 'Cause I always have to wait at
least another month before being able to get the book.

<grin> Sounds like something I should add to my list of 'to see' movies.
I've heard that it is good entertainment, once you stuff your disbelief

Yeah, one chapter, set on a most interesting day, involving something
only mentioned once before (see Atzlan sourcebook) with a 'now how
did he get out of that one?' cliffhanger. [go read it at FASA's site
to understand, full spoiler avoidance on]

Looks good Jak, i just hope it comes out as fast in Europe as America.

He was not only found in Roswell, but he made a guest appearance in
Independance Day to lower the American morale even more. . . .so now
Hollywood's in on the conspiracy. Scary stuff, huh?
