In Strange Souls Jane-in-the-box can see through the eyes of a couple of the
runners (Axler and Grind I believe).

The only way that I can find to do this is if the runner has the snake-eyes
cyberware (found in the Rigger II book) and cybereyes. However, that would
mean, at as I understand, that Jane would have to have rigger wires and a
rigger deck. Since she is a decker I didn't think that was likely.

Anybody have an opinion about how she did it?

First of all, if you are going to be using "Spoiler", includes some
spaces...like so...

Then get to the commentary afterwards...

This is incredibly easy actually. There are TONS of methods for this,
including merely a method of microcams placed on gear, Sense Link(s) with
transmitters, and even the Snake Eyes module (which btw, might be rigger gear,
but doesn't actually have "RIG requirements", and as such, a RPEM (rigger
protocol emulations module) could easily adapt to.

See, now wasn't that easy?

It's been a while since I read the book, but they way I saw it, she wasn't
really "seeing through their eyes", I saw it as the BattleTac system...I
think it said something about them having head gear and video cameras. So,
I just assumed she had a direct video feed being broadcast from the runners
to a satelite and being bounced back to her...of course...none of this is
in any rule book that we can do...but that's how all the books are
written...I don't think she had to be a rigger to do this.
