Okay - this is a little a strange, but I wanna know what all you guys
think. On p63 of R3, there is a image of an ork rigger in the foreground
and various screens with images of some kinda plane on it. On one of
these screens is whats meant to be to scrolling text info, I reckons.
Most of it's just squiggles that kinda look like writing but is just
rubbish. How ever there are a few words that stand out intelligibly.

Is it just me, or is it rather rude? ;)

What do people get? Do I need to wash my mind out with soap, so to speak,
or does it say what I think it says?

I kind of like the "Save Jar-Jar" shirt on the security rigger (not sure
what page it is on).

There is a similar "rude" drawing in the 2nd Ed Grimoire. I don't have the
page number handy, but it is a drawing of a book, if I remember correctly.

I don't have Rigger 3 yet, so I'm not quite sure about this "rudeness"
but in Grimoire 2nd ed I thought you were referring to page 130.
"Great Demons do exist on the prime material" (in small below) "This
is an example: shown here is the fearsome Kozlowski Demon"

Oh my... it's pretty darn rude. R3 should have a parental advisory
:) [never mind the law-breaking and violence]

I'm tempted to look at the rest of Scott James' stuff... maybe
there's 'hidden messages' in all of them. It's like Where's Waldo!

All in good fun, I say.
Now, what does the screen in R3 say, or is it too rude?

Nope. At least none of the ones in R2, I haven't checked R3.

In the second printing, it's been covered up with ink blots. There are
also ink blots on the opposing page.

> Now, what does the screen in R3 say, or is it too rude?

Weeell. Yeah. Kind of. :) It's not something I'd say in polite company.
Since I don't know what manner of people are lurking on the list, I'd
best not. If it werent for the lurkers, I'd know the list was full of a
disreputable lot and could give voice to all manner of rudeness. Well,
any list that'll have me 'n' Doc' can't be that classy so we'll see... ;)

Speaking of oddities in R3, any guess as to what is on Rob Zombie's shirt
on page 8 of R3?

Well since I won't likely be getting R3 anytime soon can someone please
send it to me privately? You guys have piqued my curiosity and if I don't
find out what it says soon I may be forced to go shoot up a CzarBucks. :-)

Haw. Shaddap.

Any idea how the whole 'rude words' thing got by the censors? I
mean, it can't be FASA's policy to allow artists to put in stuff like that.

It's only legible in the first couple of printings of that book, anyway.
The later printings have strategically placed ink blots...

My guess is they didn't notice it on-screen, and/or didn't look very good
at print-outs, to spot that the text would be readable when printed.

Or they just thought "To hell with it, this is the last book anyway, so who
cares?" :)

My guess would be:

SUPERBEAST
Hell Yeah

The "ERBEA" part is all thats showing of the first word, but I'm pretty sure
thats what it would be. What other T-shirt would you expect Rob Zombie's
2058 clone to wear? Its the title of track one on "Hellbilly Deluxe", and
Hell Yeah is the, well chorus isn't the word, but Zombie says it a lot...

I doubt it was the artist and was more likely someone in production.

For those who don't have R3 and are dying to find out what all
the fuss was about, here's the PG version:
"sex is good xx (can't read this) followed by
the slang words for "female genitals" and the "act of making love".

Hope this clears things up :).
