I agree completely - 'Sammy' or 'Street Sam' or 'Gillette' is a generic phrase
used to indicate big chromed gun-toting warrior type. I don't see the problem
with that at all - sure, it's not what Samurai originally meant, but hey, that's
the way language works - it evolves and anyway, there is *no* such thing as
a samurai outside Japan, where as someone said, you have to be a warrior
of the noble class, with a liege (!) lord.
So, sure, go ahead, break their balls for it, but it *is* a canon. phrase IIRC....
