Subject: Stripping unused library functions

I just want to elaborate on this. From the standpoint of
a large S/W (software) project. Using predefined libraries or
reusing packages/objects makes projects more productive. If
size becomes an issue, then trimming some of these libraries
can be done. As you might expect, with several people working
on a project, deciding on what to strip, and what not to can become
A rather hairy issue. This means more time. From my own standpoint
I have had to strip a number of libraries for several deliverables
for work. This is time consuming. Checking, rechecking, etc.

Stripping these functions from the compilers in my post would
eliminate the advantage of them in the first place. But would
likely produce much smaller code.

I will think on this option and try to come up with something
later.
