When the STR Min is listed as 1+ and 2+, what does
that mean? Should there not be a specific STR value
listed there instead?

Thanks

This STR Min is what the bow's damage is based on. A given bow will
always do the same damage, no matter how strong its user is. But some
people may not be strong enough to use it. Minimum strength is set when
you buy the bow.
So if a bow does (Str+1)M damage and has a min. Str of 4, it will do
5M damage, and you must have a Strength of 4 or more to use it.

I get that, but check out SR3, on p. 276. Up in the
Impact Projectile Weapons for STR Min for Standard
Bow, it has a 1+. Did you think I was referring to the
STR Min for Crossbows? If so, I understand that part.
But I'm confused about the STR Min 1+.

Now, let me see if I understand what you were saying
in your post: The STR Min of 1+ means that if a Player
Character had a STR of 4, then the weapon would do a
DAMAGE of +1? ... But I seee the Damage for a Standard
Bow listed here is (STR Min + 2)M ... And then there's
the Cost of 100 nuyen x Str. Min. ... of 1+??? I
appologize, but I'm afraid I'm still confused.

When you buy a bow, you buy it with a strength rating. This rating can
be one or more (i.e. "1+", get it). The cost of the bow is based on
this strength rating, as is the damage. Characters with a strength less
than the rating cannot pull back the bow. Characters with a strength
greater than the rating still only do damage using the strength rating
of the bow; they're extra strength doesn't help them because the bow
only generates so much forward force no matter how hard you pull it
back.

It means you can buy the weapon at any STR Min. starting at the value
listed. So a bow with STR Min. 4+ is available with STR Min. 4, STR Min.
5, STR Min. 6, etc. but not with 1, 2, or 3.
