So you can add as much as you want the the group pool. Interesting. Does
it have to come from the personal pool? Or can you just add it streight
from your available karma?

Group pools are fairly nifty. Other that the fact that when someone leaves
the group it reduces drastically, are there other major disadvantages? If
you do not anticipate having your cha.'s leave the party, it looks like a
good investment. You can simlpy use the karma on the players who need it.
Seems like a much better solution.

Does the pool reduce when a cha. dies?

Group Karma Pool is formed from Personal Karma Pools, not Personal Karma.
I have 140 Karma, and after losing a few dice here and there I have a
pool of 10; I can add any of those 10 to the Group Karma Pool. I add two and
my Karma Pool drops to 8.

Yes, though perhaps not as much (I'm not sure).

The problem is that to access the team Karma pool you need the permission
of the majority of the team. Now thats no problem if your team gets along.
but if they hate each others guts then you maynot be able to get to the dice.
The personal on the other hand is always there.

One reason I use this list rather than USENET; people are too flame-happy
and stupid, for the most part, on any given Newsgroup.

Reading the rules on this last night, it looked like "if a member leaves, take
out half of the karma they contributed to the group". It also made an argument
for something that I've assumed: that to raise the _group_ karma pool, everyone
in the _group_ had to add karma.

Probably just me.
