How much additional armor do they get, and where is it written?

Shouldn't that be 8 points? Force * 2? Maybe this is where the shells
fall into the picture?

Queen Euphoria's still in print, as is Double Exposure, another bug
book. Go get 'em.

Not to mention the fact that Ebay is your friend. I scored several OOP
Shadowrun books that way, usually at good prices (but look out if you're
after Harlequin or Universal Brotherhood, though the street price for UB
has been dropping lately).

If a critter's Body attribute has two values, separated by a slash, the
second value is its natural armor. Thus, a spirit with a Body of "F+2/F"
gets its Force in armor even before figuring in its Immunity to Normal
Weapons.

Nope, it's 16 points -- male and mother beetle spirits get twice their
Force in armor (see Bug City page 139 or Magic in the Shadows page 136) on
top of which comes twice their Essence in Immunity to Normal Weapons. A
Force 4 male beetle spirit therefore gets an armor rating of 16. Even a
Force 1 has 4 points of armor...

QE is still in print, I believe. Missing Blood is very hard to come by,
though.

Ebay is great. You just have to learn to be patient. I've gotten quite
a few (10-15) OOP books that I couldn't get elsewhere from them at very
reasonable prices. The only problem is that shipping is murderous for
me, unless I use surface shipping.

Like I said, though, you need to be patient if you're after Harlequin
or UB (the Holy Grails), Lone Star, NAGtNA or PAoNA (the lesser
Grails). Me, I got lucky - I still don't have a complete copy of UB,
but I bought RBB and Sprawl Sites from one guy for $8US apiece and he
was kind enough to throw in Harlequin for a further $8. Tasty. :)

Btw, that reminds me - I have a spare copy of Sprawl Sites (and I think
I'm getting another one in a while) and A Killing Glare. I also have a
spare copy of RBB, but GreyWolf has first claim on that one. If anyone
wants them AT COST, just let me know. You'll need to pay for postage,
though, and I live in Australia. (Note, Gridsec - this is NOT an
advertisement - I'm just trying to provide a service for my fellow
enthusiasts. I'm a good boy, I am. :) )
