Anyways I would say, for small living entities (i.e. fat-bacts) to =
"cover" the aura of a very large entity (i.e. the human body) it would =
require A LOT of small entities - thereby requiring a lot of liquid. Now =
who would want to run around in a body armor with 3 or 4 gallons of salt =
water? Kind of slows you down, doesn't it?

Could be... But gas weights a lot less.

Really. Like 'game balance' has any sort of place in a discussion of a
game. Jeez, Mike, what were you thinking? :):)

Well, let's see... straight H2O is about 8.34 pounds to the gallon... D'oh!
I was going to convert, but just remembered the specific density is 1 (or
close enough) kg/L. There's about 4 Liters per gallon, so... I dunno, do
you enjoy walking around with an extra 12 or 15 kilograms (about 25 to 30
pounds) in your already heavy armor?
:)

That used to be the definition of a kilogram, yes :) You can always go the
roundabout way and convert from gallons to liters and pounds to kilograms,
if you like...

No, thank you. If you have powered armor it shouldn't be too much of a
problem, and you could even add some kind of fire-retardant to the water
to give it a dual function, but otherwise IMHO not many people want that
kind of extra weight. Hell, even partial heavy armors are very heavy if
you really look at the numbers.
