Right about the katana, but since SR doesn't make a difference
between long and short swords, you can't really compare
anything to anything, IMO, unless you make some assumptions
like you're doing here. With modern metalurgy, I don't see why
you couldn't make any sword more or less the equivalent of a
traditional katana in quality. It might be best to simply put long
swords (regardless of actual model) at (Str+3)M and short swords
at (Str+2)M. Adjust as appropriate for other types, like two-
handed models.
