This reference also appears in 'voices from the past'
It is believed to refer to a lost Elven city that existed before the
scourge in ED, 'the city of shining spires' which is mentioned
briefly in Denzines of Earthdawn volume 1 but FASA have yet to
publish any information on the area in which this city supposedly
existed so all we can do is guess Harlequin was once a 'knight of the
city of shining spires' crying now because of something that happened
there - probably involving Horrors during the forth world but no data.

This is once again something from my more "cryptic" side of personal nature.

(Personal Quote) "It is often really good when a line between one facet of
life and another is found by a mortal, for that means that God is being nice
enough to show mortal eyes what a mortal can fathom. Now when a mortal dies
and moves on untowards the Divine, is he allowed to see more or is he shown
more through greater eyes?"
