Technically, you are very correct. Nothing at all.
However, the conversation that Harley has with Ehran in Central Park implies
an awful lot in general. The ideas and ideologies that are put forth in
Dunky's Will (where the Excalibur and Armor references started) are
interesting and are obviously meant as a big push.
I mean, if you went into the details, Harley being Richard would really open
up lots of doors on that poor, really old, elf. I mean, does that imply that
Harley would then like boys and young men as Richard was a closet case and
there is some documentation to support this. I have to agree, Harley
isn't/wasn't Richard, I think the reference in the Will to give it to "the
last Knight of the Crying Spire" was merely an attempt by the late Great D to
make Harley quit wallowing in his own self-developed mirings and do something
with himself again.
A question though...if beliefs are strong enough to define and redefine
totems (as in the example of Gator), what about the beliefs in "Excalibur?"
