<<<There is only one sourcebook I'd like to see more than a CAS book. That
would be Target: Japan. Actually Target: Land of the Rising Sun sounds
better.

I second that. Actually, I'd like to see a least one book with more detailed
work on Asia, specifically HK.

There was talk for a while of TARGET: RING OF FIRE. It might be mentioned
in AWAKENED LANDS, but I'm not sure what's in there. I do know that Mike
has said on more than one occasion he wants to get Hong Kong into a book;
the trouble is finding the place for it to fit.

Oh lord that would rock. Help, someone, I'm drooling!

Trouble is, FASA generally likes to get locals (or at least People Who
Know) to write their location-specific stuff. Anyone know if RPGs sell much
in Asia?

I only know that Russian is being added to the list of languages that
Battletech will be found in soon. Even all the potential people that I have
spoken with on the Lingua Project for HHH have seemed to avoid "Eastern
Asia" (China, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, etc...)

I do also know that the Shadowrun book can be found in Japanese... I've seen
that one once at the offices myself (though that was last year). I have no
idea why little to no information can be found online about "Shadowrun in
the Orient". Given all the circumstances, it makes me leery of what is
going on. Don't know why I'm leery mind you, but I am (personal paranoias
only).

The Japan Imperial State Project is very long running and has a good amount
of material online.

There is a Target Hong Kong style web page I came across a while ago; not
bad as location web sites go.

There is actually quite a bit of scattered snippets about Hong Kong in
various products. I have them listed at:
