I've read T:M recently and something cought my attention.

In the last section "Anomalies", there's a post about some strange matrix
entiety- a woman who calls herself Alice.
She seems to hate Roxburough (you know, the Azzi guy who has some nasty
biogene problem) and tries to "stop his evil plans" whatever they might be.

Any one knows something more about this thread, or does it only appear in
T:M?
Is she an A.I.?

Lets see if I remember right.

She crops up in the Dragonheart trilogy. Aparenly whatever she is thinks
that she's what remains of one of the Echo Mirage team who supposedly died
fighting the virus. I think she was also married to one of the other team
members, but the name escapes me. (Who survived).

I'm sure that there's more in the trilogy, but I'm too lazy to go look.

Alice is not an AI. She appears in the DragonHeart
series of novels. Read those for everything you need
to know about her and her relationship with
Roxborough. The series isn't about her, but she is a
pretty hefty supporting character. She's not exactly
someone that fits the rules too well, and is more of
'deus ex machina' type of character. I'm not sure that
she would fit too well in any campaign in any kind of
overt role, but maybe as a veiled behind-the-scenes player.
