(Topic almost guaranteed to create a froth of activity :) )

Anyone else notice in the first story of Target:Wastelands that the soon
creation of the spell matrix was hinted at?

In earthdawn casters draw power through astral constructs to avoid damage
from corrupt (high background count) astral space.

Yeah, I see an item for the upcoming State Of The Art....:-)
any playtesters/authors on the list want to drop us a crumb?

I also noticed at least two other hints; one about a mana warp appearing
between two pillars (screams Theran empire location, to me), and another
one about someone looking for his relatives.... perhaps in more ways than
one..:-) What do the ED/SR crossover enthusiasts make of this one? I dont
have the Theran sourcebook for ED, so cant comment...

sorry to be vauge, dont know how many people have this yet (its out in the
UK)...

yeah, yeah, OK, I can but ask, mutters to himself as he goes away pecking
at the ground.... :-)

Make me wonder though, assuming (and we all know about assumptions, dont
we boys and girls..:-) that Spell Matrix's are being created, shdaowrun is
catching up to Earthdawn's level of magical sophistication (if not power)
pretty fast. Anyone might think that cerian IE's have been teaching
people ways to fight against, Oh, metapalar threats, for example? :-)
