-In Volume 1 #114 Wyrmy asked:
*Question number one: Can anyone become an otaku? or are you born with
that ability but it then awaken later in life, ala magical awakening?

You are born with it according to VR2. In the Renraku Arcology book it
mentions that the AI controlling the place has discovered a way to
create artificial otaku with some kind of treatment on people, but so
far even his goons can only use their otaku powers within the Arcology
Matrix.

*Numero Dos: Did he lose his otaku abilities when he wouldnt die for
that tree of life thingy-ma-bod-structure?

Nope. Granted this is a pretty obscure reference, but in Blood in the
Boardroom, in one of those little Decker chat sessions, the tree of life
thing and its virus comes up and a decker named Ronin (the guy's name in
Technobabel) logs on and says he knows the guy who released the virus
personally, probably because it is himself.

*And finaly:If Leonardo was an immortal Elf, why did he die(?) when
lofwyr poisioned him? and what would be the cost and availibility of
some such poison for a samurai to get from his fixer.Or was it just
Tobasco sauce? }}}}}}:::::::^^^^^^^^]]]]]]

The immortal elves just don't age or get diseased. Its not
invulnerability, its just a body whose cells do not deteriorate over
time. Plus, according the recently released Dragons Earthdawn Book
online, the immortal elves are actually the children of elves and
dragons, so Lofwyr would certainly know what kind of magical poison or
whatever would hurt the immortal elves.
