Damn! who has this novel and why don't I?
(*Pause* as I call local gaming shop. Nope, not here yet.)
>>

i've noticed that several people on the list have gotten this book, but i
haven't been able to find it anywhere in my town (and i do mean *anywhere*.
spent today driving around looking for it). where did everyone find their
copy?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as i have run out of reading
material and am climbing the walls in anticipation of 'Technobabel'.
because Steve Kenson is a great writer. one of the best. that's how i feel. i
always love his books and rush out to buy them.
nothing wrong with a little butt-kissing once in a while ;]

I got my copy the day after it was released (last week), at All Star Games
in Diamond Bar, CA. Their distributor gets stuff to them ultra-quick; I've
actually been able to grab books right out of the UPS boxes and forced them
to ring them up and found out that few other people on the lists had that
book yet.

Of course, that's when they haven't put a copy aside for me just so they
wouldn't have to put up with me bugging them. ;-)

I'm not special or anything, just lucky that my game store has a great
distributor.

Also, according to FASA's page, the ROC editions of the novels hit
bookstores about three weeks after the FASA editions hit the game stores.
So I wouldn't look there for a few more weeks.

Actually, on a related topic, does anyone know when Blood in the Boardroom
and Target: Smuggler's Havens are due in stores? While I want Smuggler's
Havens, I'm practically rabid waiting for Blood in the Boardroom. GOTTA
HAVE IT!!!

Oh, and Steve does a very good job with the novel. Honestly, I'm not sure
non-SR people would understand it all (I think it assumes the reader knows
the SR universe), but there are so many little references in there the
knowledgable SR reader will love it. I mean, who here hasn't wondered at
least once what a closed session of the Corporate Court on Zurich Orbital
is like?
