it known, however, that it did appear in momentary communion with the
shimmering crossover of Matrix-space. Whether this is an isolated
phenomenon or whether the Matrix is achieving a form of rudimentary
gestalt sentience/life is also unknown. It is, I think, worth further

I think Mondragon either saw some kind of odd magical effect that resembled
the Matrix in Astral Space, or saw some odd construct that resembled Astral
Space in the Matrix. Spirit? Naw, probably a half-assed newbie virus attempt
on its way to being traced and burned.
