Nope, no problems here.

Well, I will lengthen the lines to 80+ characters. For the recored: I'm
using M2, Opera 7's integrated mail client. And now, I reached 80+
characters.

Probably they won't, because unlike mine, yours says:

Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="us-ascii"

in the headers...

In the "to use" charset list in the preferences (compose message or so)
my entries are 1st "us-ascii", 2nd "iso-8859-15 (local) and 3rd
"utf-8"
perhabs it's this list?

Yes, indeed. It behaved exactly like Gurth's mail. I can read it
fine, but it doesn't get properly quoted when I click reply.
It's also using "Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable" and it
also has some very odd quoted matter. [Looks like one of the newlines
in the message in quoted and also that close parenthesis...]
