To bring this on-topic lest we burn forever in the wrath of D****n,
has anyone used cubicle things in a Shadowrun? I just had this image
of sending the runners to retrieve an item from "room 205D", only to
discover (with security hot on their heels, 'natch), that room 205D
holds 200 desks, all basically identical....

I'm planning on perfectionning a home rule I did some time ago and I would
need your help.
A part of this rule is to fix min. quickness and strength for the use of
melee weapons.
Here is what I did :

Weapon Strength Quickness
Fist 0 3
Knife 2 4
Sword 4 3
Axe 4 4
Katana 3 5
2H Sword 5 4
Staff 3 4

The minimum is for a professional use.
Could you please give me your opinion about these values and propositions
for other weapons. I especially would like to hear the opinion of those who
practice martial arts or combat techniques.

Ooooh, that's evil! I love it!

Gonna have to use that one...

And tell them it's in a desk drawer, which (of course) happens to be
locked on nearly all of the desks. Naturally, throw in some fun or
surprising stuff for the players to find in those drawers.
