Yes, but (he says ruining the running gag for everyone by injecting dull
seriousness) no doubt her last name is Blatavska because the Theosophist
movement would likely sue for using their founder's name. Like Fuchi and
Mitsuhama. Very like real corps, but not quite...

Here we go again. I asked this last week, but methinks no one noticed in the
general fuzz that´s been going on since...

Anyway I was wondering what you people know about the Atlantean Foundation
and the Mystic Crusaders. The only book I have that says anything about them
is "Stranger Souls" and SR3, and they are not exactly packed with info. I´ve
been trying to get hold of a book about Seattle where I´ve heard they are
mentioned, but they´re impossible to find here.

I need info about them since the players in my campaign will probably hire a
decker to make a profile about them and I lack general info about them, like
where their main headquarters are, what operations they run etc. Give me all
you´ve got cuz I love to throw drown my players in information.

thankful for any help,

Uriel

The old Seattle sourcebook said that the main headquarters was in Atlanta,
Georgia, CAS. The founder (and I believe she's still in charge) was Sheila
Blavatsky (sp?). However, I'm working off of memory here, I don't actually
have that book. Anyone else want to give this guy some more info?

How about checking out the Threats sourcebook? They have an entire chapter
on the Atlantean Foundation and the Mystic Crusaders.

Perfect. Now that is puring salt into my wounds, telling me that the book I
want the most but haven´t got contains the info I want the most but cannot
find. *sigh* I knew I should´ve bought it at the latest Con. It´s impossible
to find anywhere else around here.

Anyone not doing anything important who want to tell me what they say about
them in Threats (if there´s details I won´t complain :)?

thankful,

Try Ebay. I just looked and there are two different people selling it for
$5 and $2 respectively.

Broflofsky, but the spelling variance could merely be a cover-up.

That's nice.

But the Shiela biff of Atlantean fame is Sheila
Blatavska, not Shiela Blavatsky. Oops. :)

Cartman is his last name, and since his mom is actually
Eric's dad, it stands to reason that her last name would
be Cartman.
You're confusing her with Sheila Brovlovski, Kyle's mom.

The Blavatsky reference is pointing towards the writer
of "Isis unveiled" books, 19th century theosophist(?)
H. P. Blavatsky. BTW the books are a good read if you're
interested in getting loads of occult plot lines into
your campaign. I can't say that it was an easy read and
I though it had a positively wobbly theoretical base in
the first place (but lets not get into that).

A GM of a group I used to play with used it rather
extensively in his campaigns, so it made sense to
"prepare" myself a little bit better :)

Well, there's a very decent possibility that Sheila's actually
Alachia, former Queen of all Elvendom.
