White Wolf magazine did New Orleans (a great town to run in if
you're of the magical persausion) and I do Charlotte (a town that sprawls
out but rarely up).

Recall, gentle readers that San Antonio is firmly is Aztlan territory.
In a previous game the Aztechnology pyramid is right on top of the
demolished Alamo.

My current game is in Austin

The whole border thing is a great way to keep things very tense.
Whenever my players start to let their guard down something happens on
the border. Right now they are so paranoid they're running in circles.
