The problem with the club is you are securing a piece of failry breakable
material, namely your steering wheel, with a piece of metal. Given the
choice, most car theives would choose to hack the steering wheel 'til it
gives rather then spending time and energy and time and more time on
trying to get through the club.

Come on doc I was only kidding...I know for a fact that most car theives that
would encounter this would just cut the steering wheel and replace it when they
strip/sell it.

The problem with that ideas is that the steering wheel in under a huge amount of
tension and if you cut it it will quickly unbend and frankly, kill you. Trust
me I have seen it in the field.(Paramedic)
