Oh yes... The great American evil. Quickly, my european brothers! Break
the shackles of opression! Flee from those concentration camps! Fight the
invading forces!

What? No camps? You live in luxury compared to 75% of the world?
No troops to rape your mother and your sister? You're able to rant and
rave against the US without Gestapo-like forces burning your house and
gasing your family?

Sorry then...I must've been mistaken...

I have to fight back the urge to say "Move to Africa if you want to rant
about something"... but as Voltaire said: "I may not agree with what you
say, but I will defend your right to say it with my life"....

Actually, I'm american. I've heard more than enough American
Arrogance to know it exists. Not evil, not even 100% of americans
(heck, not even 75% of american. Maybe not even 20%.) But what ever
it is, it's a loud percentage.

Naturally, other things are worse. I say only that, overall,
Americans are and have been quite arrogant about a lot of things.

And as for Voltaire, well....I find it ironic that a man who had a
philosophy in many ways opposed to mine had so many good thoughts. :)

Ermmm wasn't Brett, like, American?

Besides, it's just REALLY funny to see that the oh-so-liberalt (sorry, had
to do that) Americans can't take something from another country even if
doing so would be more than just intelligent. A bit like temperature in
Fahrenheit (the whole danm physics are based on Kelvin (read: Celsius with
an offset) and the metric system. Still we use an archaic (and rather
bogus) system.
