Thus did DGhost speak:

Just that the Keanu character begins to realize that "reality" is a
computer-generated fiction, as he and others are actually lying around with electrodes in
their temples. Sounds almost like a head-on collision of "The Truman Show" and
"Dark City." <g>

"Dark City" is almost the perfect source film for Dark Conspiracy. A guy
wakes up in the bath and finds he is accused of a murder he didn't do,
and he has to find out what the heck is going on. It's a pretty damn
cool film IMHO. have a look at http://www.darkcity.com/

cheers

A movie that only just barely warrants renting..Some aliens are
trying to figure out what makes people have souls or some such..so
they can get some for themselves?

A very strange claustrophobic little film about a city dominated by aliens
who.... Nahhh, that's giving too much away...

It's quite a wierd little filum though.

It's a weird, dark movie about some aliens who do some weird personality
switching stuff. It's actually on cable right now (at least in my area on
MediaOne). I just watched part of it two nights ago. Not the best movie in
the world, but good enough that I'll make a point of watching it all the way
through if I can catch the beginning of it...
