good. But now I have re-fined it.And it is Better. The Idea was to create
a focus that added magic pool dice for spell that used a specific
elemental effect, and adds dice for summoning spirits of that element.I
also made a totem focus. It would add die to the shamans magic pool for
casting spells or summoning spirits that his/her totem would give
bonuses for.Originaly I figured they would be unique enchantments.I have
been refineing and trying the Idea on my players, and finaly I perfected
it.Here are the rules for it:
Enchanting:
First you must be either an enchanter, or be able to enchant
objects.Second you must get radicals of the element(or domain) for which
the focus is created for(radical wood counts for fire and Forest
spirits.A small piece of cement,or so,me other part of the city can be
used for a city domain). Then the Magician enchants the focus for 30 days
per rating point, adding an exotic material for every point above 3(GM's
discretion of course).when the time is up, the magicisn must make
anenchanting test with a target of 4.if he succeeds, the focus is
done.if he fails,he must start all over if he wants the focus.
Advantages:adds its rating in dice to the magicians magic-pool when used
to cast, conjure or control, a spirit or spell that is of the specified
Element/Domain.
Well?what do you guys/girls think?
