Hello,

I guess this may be "off topic" so I shall keep it short.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the folks on this list in the past
week or so. After quite a while on Storyteller news groups getting
flamed for even mentioning there might be another way to do things, I
was hesitant to come to yet another role playing discussion group and
attempt to learn.

So far I have been shown a great deal of courtesy and have been given
real help instead of being told how little I know. Of all the shadowrun
resources out their I have to say this has become my most valued.

Thank you,
--Aristotle

Heh, most of the people here are very... friendly. They
certainly enjoy guiding ingorant souls toward... enlightenment.

They're like drug dealers that way. "Hey kid, first help is
free..."

Yup, the gurus give real help.

But just wait until you say something that is patently
ridiculous, stupid or unrepentantly obnoxious. Then you'll
get pummeled mercilessly by some maniac wielding a 1000
year old carp. From time to time, someone will say some
serious untruth; watch for it.

I guess that's a small price to pay for being around such
totally knowledgeable people.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to give that back to you (he says, extending
Dave his 5000 year-old carp after having viciously thwapped Gurth [before
said miscreant could hide under his stairs, that is]). Thanks for the
loan. :)
