Actually, there is a way to consider keeping your Hermetic Magicians down (if
that is what you want). SOTA does cover magical stuff, and the Library is
the rating that SOTA effects in a direct manner. And damn, does *that* get
expensive rather quickly.
Additionally, with regards to Enchanting, there is always a beginning or base
cost of the raw materials (as measured in money or time ... not too mention
the cost of the Enchanting Gear/Shop). Additionally, outside of Foci, the
real money maker in Enchanting is Alchemy, and that has some very
time-restrictive elements that is involved in it. There are lots of options,
yes, but there are also lots of very important, very paper-tracking-intensive
considerations as well.
