Ok...after discussing how Thermographic vision enhancements will not see an
invisible mage I was asked if goggles would or not. Someone says no
because your mind is still being fooled. So would it only be electronic
devices like sensors and cameras that would pick up on the mage?

I would think that yes you would still see an
invisible mage with thermo goggles. Unless they used
the enhanced invisibilty.

But what do I know...

Goggles _are_ a camera-and-screen system. When you use thermographic
goggles, you aren't looking at REALITY, you are looking at a very small (and
very close to your eyes) vid-screen.

Which is why mages cannot satisfy Line-of-Sight requirements for spellcasting
using them.

Ergo, yes, the rent-a-cop security guards, with their CHEAPER thermo-goggles,
see invisible characters. But still, ofc, not IMPROVED invisible characters.

Think of the goggles as a very miniaturised
closed-circuit-security-camera-and-screen system that you just _happen_ to
wear on your face.

Essentially yes. There is no-one in the mages line of sight for the
magic to fool, so the camera could pick up the normal (or
thermographic) image and someone looking at a monitor in a control
room would be able to see him.
