I would have to agree with this a street mage might be able to create a
less powerful
cyberware effecting spell but the spell in the story is just to nasty
matter of fact the
character said she was the only person who knew it and was not telling
how it worked. :)
Never Appeal to a man's "better nature" he may not have one.
Invoking his self-interest gives you more leverage.
