Where's everybody been the last few days? I've only gotten 10-20 items in the
last 2-3 days...

Anybody else notice a small problem with the Tactical Computer in ShadowTech?
Level 1 is 350,000Y and level 2 is 900,000Y... But, if you get the level 1,
an orientation system (15,000Y I think), eyes with low-light and thermographic,
and ears with low and high frequency; then according to the description, you
now have a level 7 (1+2+2+2) for about 400,000Y...

A random idea regarding magic priority... If you want everyone to be able
to use small amounts of magic, try this... Divide the Force Points they 'buy'
by the difference between their magic priority and A (B for Adepts) + 1 (ie.
someone puts A into tech (50 Force Points) and E into magic, then they have 10
Force Points as a Mage or 12 as an Adept. If you think this is being to easy
on people, then divide by difference + 2 (or 3) or you could give them + the
difference to all magic target numbers (nasty) or just limit everyone in this
way to being the equivalent of an Adept (with those limitations)... The only
problem with doing this is the Physical Adept since he really doesn't use
Force Points for anything (maybe, subtract the difference between B and his
magic priority from his magic attribute for purposes of buying his powers).
This sort of system would simulate those people who dabble in magic or those
who have just picked it up along the way (ie. the Tribal Warrior who has
worked closely with the Shaman and was 'chosen' but enjoys being a warrior,
or the street samurai who has been 'treated' or 'healed' enough times that
he has started picking up on the 'resonances', etc)...

One last thing, anyone else feel that charging magicians Essence equal to
the Body Index for BioTech is just a little unfair? You would have to give
them some penalty to keep from having people with 'super-sam-mage'
characters, but how about 1/2 or 1/4 the Body Index (most Magicians I've
played with don't want to lose any Essence so they can handle the higher
Force spells)...

Come on chummers, lets get some discussion going...
