You have some nice new copyrights. I think I will generalize anything I
make for a fantasy game, better yet, I'll make for Earthdawn by FASA. I
am know going to sell all T$R products and buy earthdawn. You have a lot
of work a head of you if ya want to git rid of all the "Unauthorized" TSR
material, a shit load of work, but they probably pay you enough. Is T$R
trying to start a revolution? Screw AD&D, T$R has its games shoved too
far up its ass to see its a game.

Incase you were wondering my address is: 73-B Escondido village, Stanford
CA 94305

I just asked what the hell their rationale was. I got rid of AD&D a long time
ago...still got my books, though, maybe I should sell 'em off. =)

Sell them? Why don't you hold a public book burning and sent the
pictures of it to T$R. :-)

Y'know what's even more ridiculous? Just try writing to T$R and asking if
they'd be interested in having you write for them; books, modules,
supplements, anything. I tried this, back in my foolish youth. The response
I got back was basically: "We only let our own people write stuff for us.
We may allow you to become one of "our own people" if we decide to hire
you to do grunt work for about 3 years, during which time you may not write
anything for anyone else, and then if we decide you're ok we may let you
write something under our hawklike supervision. And, if you're already in
the middle of writing something that has anything to do with a T$R product,
you'd better stop it right now and destroy it or we'll sue your ass off."
I've also heard from about 3 separate people the story that;
"I wrote a module and sent it to T$R, and they said it sucked and sent it
back to me, and then a month later published my module with some other
writer's name on it and a few of the names and details changed."

Buncha buttheads. Earthdawn kicks ass over T$R anyday.

Especially if we mention how T$R encourages demon-worship and violence...

Because I have well over 500 bucks in T$R AD&D books. Read: everything ever
published and most of the net.books too =)

Gee... I used do run AD&D games back in my foolish youth and the best games we
had were based on modules I created. I didn't know that I was building a
criminal past doing that.

Better flee to South America...

This is exactly what should NOT happen. Granted, you were
pissed, as are a lot of us, but hate-mail will just cause T$R to ignore
us. Instead of flaming them, write a clear, concise, letter concerning
your questions about how this will affect those of us who use these net
supplements and design them. Find out what we can and cannot do. Find
loopholes. USe them. Don't, and I mean DON'T, piss them off. It'll
only hurt us.

I sent something to FASA (well not exactly it was the magazine
J.D. posted about). I hope I get some neat answer and not the automated
fuck-off reply. Anyway I'll let you know when I get it :)

The main thing we have to remember is not to pump any MORE money
into them. Selling them amongst ourselves is just fine...

(G-P, I thought you had to get rid of your stuff?)
