>>>>>[I recall reading somewhere in the surgery section of SR1 that the
technology was there to clone everything but the mind of humans.
This presents some interesting possibilitys as well as some
frightening ones. Such a body-without-an-occupant could be used
as the perfect recpticle for free spirit possesion, spirit ally
possesion, or even insect spirit possesion. Immagine a trueform
spirit in a host body that can be the best grown in the world.
There are only two examples that I can think of of clones that I
Have heard of before. One is the aforementioned Jack-the-Ripper
and the other apperared in the novel NEVER DEAL WITH A DRAGON.
And that creature was more of a genetically/magically designed
doppleganger with skillwires. The point being that even with
the novelists(who often break away from the game mechanics in the
name of interesting plot devices) everyone seems to hold to the
belief that full cloning with a complete, or functional brain
is still beyond the scope of Shadowrun Tech. But even that can
change in your corner Mitumsha R&D department.]<<<<<
