IMO, changing the SR rules to allow astral to physcial attacks through
anything would damage the game, through the balance all to hell, and
encourage more Munchkinism than the game needs. It would be inconsistent
with the way FASA has set up SR, and in fact contrary to the current
rules. I feel that a rule which can have ramifications this large should
at least be playtested before being handed down from oH. This whole
grounding thing has so much potential for misuse that GM's should be
cautious.

In fact it wasn't meant as an easy way to stir fry your opponent when it
was first described. It was actually a detriment to having spell locks
and wimpy foci. Now someone has come up with a way to turn this balancing
negative effect into a postive effect. Am i the only one who sees the
munchkins just waiting to explode into being?

As for reprimanding players for (mis)using watcher spirits as tactical
nuke carriers, pathetic. If the rule makes sense, allow it. If it
doesn't, then disallow it. But at least do one or the other.

Oh, and Dr Doom, sorry I made you feel ignored. Next time, would you
user a fresh carp? That one stunk!
