Hi all,

Using the books: Shadowrun, Companion and Critters (all SR3).

I am confused as to what the proper damage from a hand-to-hand attack from the tiger form
should be.

The human form does (STR)M stun damage. No problem.
I assume the damage from a tiger is not stun, but physical.
Critters says that a Shapeshifter Tiger does (A+1)(A) where A seems to be 10S (the value
from normal tiger). Note that the normal tiger has S of 8 which may allow some to
extrapolate that normal tiger damage is (STR+2)S, but I do not think it should be done
that way.
Companion says that the Shapeshifter Tiger has +1 Power and +1Level to damage. From what
I do not know.

Therefore, does the Shapeshifter Tiger do:

(1) 11S (based solely on Critters)
(2) (STR+2)S (basic Critter extrapolation)
(3) (STR+3)S (Critter extrapolation with Shapeshifter mod)
(4) 11D (Critter base + Companion changes)
(5) something else, maybe based on STR

Thanks for your input.

I would say (4). If that proves game-unbalancing (for my group your group
may have a different reason for throwing it out) I'd try (1) next.

I disagree. I'd say take the unarmed attack modifications as
modifications to standard human attacks. So, a Tiger Shapeshifter, in
animal form, would do [str+1]S physical damage (though, it doesn't SAY
they do physical damage, they should. :].
